Living and more

Location:

  • Village centre of Sun Peaks
  • Ski in – Ski out, less than a minute to the lift for skiing, riding, hiking, and biking.

Accommodation:

  • Wide selection of studios with kitchenette and hotel rooms in a classic, timeless design.
  • Reservations are exclusively available on our website. You can check real-time availability and pricing or book with your preferred travel agency. This streamlined process ensures efficiency and accuracy in securing your reservation.
  • Pets. Even though we love pets, they are not allowed. Sorry.
  • Check in time: Summer 3.00pm – 5.30pm, Winter as of 3.00pm
  • Check out time: 10am

Restaurants:

  • Steakhouse Restaurant: Open during the winter season for breakfast & dinner and in the summer for dinner only. Bar available For detailed information, operating hours and reservation requests please click here.
  • Fondue Stube: Open only during the winter season. Explore more details and operating hours here.

Parking:

  • Underground parking (onsite) is only available for cars, small minivans, and small SUVs at $25 per night, per vehicle, plus GST. Stalls are very tight. In and out privileges. Subject to availability upon arrival.
  • Outside parking (onsite) is available for $20 per night, per vehicle, plus GST, no in-out privileges. Subject to availability upon arrival.
  • Outside hotel overflow parking (offsite) is available at nearby Parking Lot P2. Always available. In and out privileges.
  • EV charging is not available at Sun Peaks, however nearby at the Sun Peaks Centre

Connectivity:

  • Complimentary wireless internet available in public areas, each room, and studio.

Wellness

Wellness Area:

  • Features Hot Tub, Sauna, Steam Room, and Relaxation Room.
  • Showers and change rooms
  • Operational hours are from 2 pm to 10 pm (subject to change without notice, no refund if closed)

Amenities

Meeting Space:

Storage Facilities:

  • Ski and Snowboard Storage is provided. Bring your own ski key or obtain one from the Front Desk to lock up your equipment. Please note that skis/snowboards are not allowed in rooms or studios.
  • Ski/Board waxing table is available in the main building
  • Bike Storage is available in the summer season, and guests must use their own lock for securing bikes. Bikes are not allowed in rooms or studios.

In-Room Amenities:

  • Flat-screen Optik TV, duvets, fridge, private safe, phone with voicemail, coffee maker, complimentary coffee and tea, kettle, iron and ironing board.
  • Microwave ($) available on request Dec – Mar only and subject to availability.
  • Our windows open to let the fresh mountain air in. Table fans are provided.
  • No air conditioning.

Laundry room:

  • Guest laundry ($) with 1 washer and 1 dryer.

Bathrooms:

  • Bathrooms feature walk-in showers with rain shower and handheld shower, safety grab bar, hairdryer, and environmentally friendly amenities.

Scenic Views:

  • Enjoy views of the quaint village or Mt. Morrisey. Room or studio preferences can be requested but are not guaranteed.

McSporties:

  • McSporties Retail and Bike Rental/Repair in the summer. Retail, Rental/Repair services for all your skiing equipment needs during the winter.

District Bicycle Company:

  • District Bicycle Company Retail and Bike Rental/Repair in the summer. Retail, Rental/Repair services for all your skiing equipment needs during the winter.

Sun Peaks Lodge: What to Expect

At Sun Peaks Lodge, we take great pride in our commitment to maintaining exceptionally high cleaning standards. While we strive to offer a comprehensive range of amenities and services, we kindly ask for your understanding that certain restrictions may be in place. This could result in the temporary unavailability of some facilities. Your comfort and safety remain our top priorities, and we appreciate your understanding as we work diligently to create a secure and welcoming environment for your stay.

Front Desk:

  • Contactless check-out process. Additional payments, such as parking fees, will be charged to the credit card upon check-in, and the invoice will be signed. Guests can simply drop the keys at check-out.

Guest Room:

  • Housekeeping services may not be provided during a guest’s stay if the DND sign is displayed. Fresh towels, coffee, bathroom amenities, etc., are available at the Front Desk for guest convenience.

Cancellation / Payment Policies – they always apply and no exceptions will be made. Please make sure you have your own Travel Insurance in place.
We accept Visa and MasterCard only. No debit cards. The credit card must be in the name of the main guest of the reservation and must be presented at time of check in. By making an online reservation, the credit card holder (main guest) herewith declares that the credit card provided is his/her/their credit card and herewith authorizes Sun Peaks Lodge to charge the credit card as per the following policies. A 3% processing fee applies. We do not accept 3rd party payments.
Should we are not able to charge your card, we will contact you and allow for a 24 hours grace period to provide a new valid card. Should we not be able to receive payment after the 24 hours, the reservation will be cancelled without any further notification. For reservations received within 2 days of arrival date the grace period is 12 hours.

*Winter Policy for arrivals between Dec 01 and Apr 30:
Rate Code = RACK = Regular Rate
Payment: The full amount of the reservation, incl. taxes, will be charged to the credit card provided, without prior notification, within 30 days of arrival, latest upon check in, as pre-payment. We accept Visa and MasterCard only. No debit cards. This payment is non-refundable. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
Cancellations made 31 days or more before the arrival date are free of charge. You must cancel the same way you made your reservation.
Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival: Any pre-payments will not be refunded and applied as cancellation fee. If no payment was charged to the credit card, the cancellation fee, equal to the full amount of the reservation, including taxes, will be charged to the credit provided, without prior notification. Within 30 days date changes are not permitted. Travel insurance is highly recommended.

Rate Code = PREP = Prepay-No-Refund Rate
Cancellations: Cancellations made any time after the booking was made, will be charged a cancellation fee to the credit card provided, without prior notification, equal to the full amount of the reservation, including taxes. Any pre-payments will not be refunded. Date changes are not permitted. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
Payments: The full amount of the reservation, including taxes, will be charged to the credit card provided any time after the booking was made, without prior notification. We accept Visa and MasterCard only. No debit cards. This payment is non-refundable.
*For all rate codes, any prepayment cannot be changed to a different credit card after it was charged. No refunds will be given for no shows and/or early departures, prepayments will not be refunded.

*Summer Policy for arrivals between May 1 and Nov 30:
